Your responsibilities

Development of automotive software components and applications for vehicle connectivity systems
Integration of software components on different operating systems and platforms
Participation in the development of communication middleware
Participation in the analysis, diagnosis, and troubleshooting of the complex parts of an automotive software system
Delivering high-quality C/C++ code in a real-time embedded environment
Includes occasional on-site support in Germany depending on project

Your profile

A master or bachelor degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or proven equivalent experience
At least 2 years professional experience, preferably in the automotive sector
Proven track record of delivering high-quality software
Solid knowledge of programming concepts in C and C++
Solid knowledge of object-oriented programming model
Solid knowledge of various communication protocols and networks (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet, etc.)
Solid knowledge of automotive transport and diagnostics protocol standard
Solid knowledge in real time operating systems (e.g., FreeRTOS, AUTOSAR OS)
Solid knowledge of architecture (e.g., ARM cortex R, ARM cortex M)
Knowledge of build processes and tools (e.g., CMake, Make)
Knowledge of script languages (e.g., Python, shell)

Preferred Requirements

Previous experience designing and testing embedded systems
Persistency in complex problem solving and providing high quality solutions in real time embedded environment
Desire for continuous learning and improvement
Adapts to changes in the work environment by changing approaches or methods to best fit the situation
Very good knowledge of English written and spoken
